Stolen Graff Diamond Turns up in Hong Kong


A 16-carat yellow diamond lost in a 2007 London robbery has been recovered to Graff Diamonds after showing up at a Hong Kong pawn shop.

When the shop’s owner submitted the jewel to the Gemological Institute of America for grading, they were surprised to find a positive match with the missing Graff stone from their original grading records. The diamond had been re-cut and cost the shop owner nearly $400,000.
